Radio stations have a tendency to overplay a few songs. Though I don't listen to it much, people all over the campus sing these said overplayed songs. And if they aren't actually overplayed in the radio, they'll sound as if they are. Anyway, they are:
"Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston- This is probably #1 on my list.
Why?: It's catchy, it's #1, it's unique and it doesn't have profanity! Though this is what makes Sean Kingston my current pick for role model in the music biz, you'll have to admit that the very overplayed song will make you sick and as the song states- suicidal.
"Don't Matter" by Akon - It's very old, this song.
Why?: I liked this song on first listen. Listening to it for the second time, it felt like the umpteenth.
"Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne - I hate the new Avril.
Why?: Avril's a respected punk/emo singer and opposes the posing naked thing. Ironically, her career has turned upside-down. She's bubble-gum punk, she posed nude in a mag, and has an annoying song full of wasted cuss words!
"Umbrella" and "Shut Up And Drive" by Rihanna - Admit it.
Why?: OK. I admit, I haven't really gotten annoyed by both songs but they're simply overplayed on almost any station I tune to.
"Wait For You" by Elliott Yamin - I didn't want this to happen!
Why?: 'Wait For You''s a great song and I think Elliott Yamin's the best but... I had a feeling of little annoyance when I last listened to the song. It's a great song nonetheless.
"Yesterday Once More" by The Carpenters - LOL.
Why?: It's the "Del Rosarian" 'remix' that actually makes me sick. Ahahaha, joke lang 'to ah! Go Marie and Dale! Ahahahaha!
