Golden Globes results!

There were some expected, some unheard of, and some... well, not really unexpected turns in the results announced in today's Golden Globes press con. There may not be the glamour you expect, but hey, it's the winners who matter, right? Well, on to the results then!

Best Motion Picture - Drama
American Gangster (Sorry Denzel, no Globe for you this time!)
[x]Atonement (Why shouldn't it? It's quite gripping because it sucked me in, despite the fact that I caught the middle part)
Eastern Promises
The Great Debaters (Sorry, Denzel, no Globe for you again!)
Michael Clayton
No Country for Old Men
There Will Be Blood (I never thought that something I felt uninteresting would be so... interesting)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama
Cate Blanchett - Elizabeth: The Golden Age (She was definitely a real great actress in that one)
[x]Julie Christie - Away From Her (Don't know this one.)
Jodie Foster - The Brave One
Angelina Jolie - A Mighty Heart
Keira Knightley - Atonement (She feels too... oh, never mind!)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama
George Clooney - Michael Clayton
[x]Daniel Day-Lewis - There Will Be Blood (I think I better watch the damn movie already!)
James McAvoy - Atonement (He's quite a promising star. Best keep watch of him.)
Viggo Mortensen - Eastern Promises (They say it was a great performance. Gotta watch it.)
Denzel Washington - American Gangster

Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Across the Universe
Charlie Wilson's War (I never knew this was a musical/comedy!)
Hairspray (I guess you can call it Globe-worthy)
Juno (They say it's a terrific pic, and I'm soo gonna get it!)
[x]Sweeney Todd (But what are these films compared to this?)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Amy Adams - Enchanted (I loved her there...)
Nikki Blonsky - Hairspray (Her arms are bigger than her face. No offense.)
Helena Bonham Carter - Sweeney Todd (She was definitely creepy in the posters. Haha)
[x]Marion Cotillard - La Vie en Rose (I heard that the movie was likewise great. Gotta see it.)
Ellen Page - Juno (She may have played Kitty in X-Men, but that didn't stop her from getting the role of Juno!)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy

Philip Seymour Hoffman - Charlie Wilson's War (Philip's a gifted actor. Unfortunately, his performances aren't really enough for this year...)
John Travolta - Hairspray (Why shouldn't he be at least nominated, right? Tell me, assuming that you are a boy, would you cross-dress as a woman for the sake of a movie?)
Tom Wilkinson - Michael Clayton

Best Animated Feature Film
Bee Movie (Basta lang may Dreamworks na kasali, I assume? 'Coz I think the movie stinks.)
[x]Ratatouille (Brad Bird is definitely a great animated film director and his works always get the prize. This is no different.)
The Simpsons Movie (I never knew that The Simpsons were that good.)

Best Foreign Language Film
4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days
