Elliott... we've been waiting for ya

He certainly is the man...

We caught him doing his thing at the Market! Market! mall in The Fort and it was absolutely an unforgettable experience. You can hear the soul and the raw emotion in his voice ten times better live than on record. He started his one-hour act with Moving On and ended it with a touching rendition of A Song For You and the audience swayed and jammed and even cried to the music... I would've made the most of the moment if it weren't for the deafening tili of the crazy girls behind us... Even if their voices were getting husky and all, they were determined to get heard and probably get pointed out by Elliott or something.

So close and yet so far...

We fell in line with his CD when we found out that getting an autograph is actually not in need of a stub (Photo ops were in need of the special-colored stubs that can be ordered since 10am. Only the first 50 people who bought tickets got these stubs.) but when there was only about 5 people in front of me, he leaves. "So close and yet so far..." said my father.

Anyway, I wouldn't leave a mall concert, especially with a world-class artist like him, without something in my pocket. Yes, the CD's finally here and it even includes a poster. Heck, I even got videos of him... unfortunately in my trusty cellphone (we forgot to bring the Handycam! Darn.). One of them's annoyingly incomprehensible so pasyensya na po (I won't post it). Hahaha.
