Last midnight's COMELEC press con announced that Aquino was leading with 40% of the 78% of votes that have been transmitted. If everything goes as planned, results for 100% of votes may get transmitted before lunchtime, and a president shall be proclaimed.
The VP dark horse candidate Jejomar Binay is also leading the tentative count ahead of Mar Roxas.
